Abbey Otte
Substitute Instructor
Abbey has been dancing since the age of two and brings a strong pre-professional ballet background to Revolution Dance. While her early training included ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, tap, and musical theater, she chose to focus her training primarily on ballet at age fourteen, leading to advanced professional opportunities.
At seventeen, Abbey was offered a Trainee contract with Charlotte Ballet, where she trained under esteemed faculty including Laszlo Berdo, Kati Hanlon Mayo, and Patricia McBride. During her time there, she performed in productions including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Endeavor to the Edge, while also discovering her passion for teaching and mentoring young dancers.
Abbey is currently a Trainee with BalletMet, training under Maria Torija, Carrie West-Suslov, Dmitri Suslov, and Traci Gilchrest Kubie. Her recent performance credits include The Nutcracker, La Bayadère, and Divertimento No. 15.
Abbey is passionate about helping dancers build strong technical foundations, artistry, discipline, and confidence through quality ballet training, and is excited to share her love of dance with the students of RDC.
