Halie Greenslait
Studio Owner and Tap Company Director Halie Greenslait is the owner and director of Revolution Dance Company, bringing over 23 years of dance experience and more than a decade of teaching to her role. Having been part of the Revolution family for eight years before stepping into ownership, she is passionate about continuing the studio’s legacy while leading its next chapter with purpose and vision. Her training spans tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary, with additional study under nationally recognized choreographers including Mike Minery, Anthony Morigerato, Mandy Moore, and more. While she has experience across multiple styles, tap remains a particular passion, and her choreography has earned numerous overall high-point placements, titles, and special awards for solos, duet/trios, and group routines. Halie earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University, a background that strongly shapes her leadership and teaching philosophy. She believes dance should develop more than technical skill. It should build confidence, resilience, discipline, leadership, and a strong sense of self. Under her direction, Revolution Dance is committed to providing high-quality training in a supportive but high-expectation environment where dancers are challenged to grow, encouraged to lead, and inspired to take pride in both their progress and their character. |
