Revolution Dance's Nutcracker is a magical holiday performance experience for dancers ages 5+. Whether your dancer is brand new to the stage or has years of performance experience, Nutcracker is an opportunity to build confidence, make new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Open to dancers from all studios and experience levels.
Dancers will perform in two full productions of The Nutcracker at Cowan Hall, a beautiful collegiate performance venue at Otterbein University.

Auditions
Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 22.
Dancers should arrive in ballet attire:
Black leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes, hair in a ballet bun, and no jewelry.
Dancers interested in pointe roles should audition in pointe shoes. Pointe dancers must have at least one year of pointe experience and be approved by RDC staff.

Ages 4–7: 12:00–12:15 PM
Ages 8–10: 12:15–12:30 PM
Ages 11–13: 12:30–1:00 PM
Ages 14+: 1:00–1:30 PM
Rehearsals & Commitment
Nutcracker rehearsals will take place on Saturday's beginning after auditions. Each dancer will only attend rehearsal during their assigned time based on casting.
While dancers do not need to be enrolled in RDC classes to participate, we strongly recommend that Nutcracker dancers take at least one ballet class to support their training and performance experience.
Pricing
There is no fee to audition.
Dancers cast in the production will pay:
$45/month rehearsal fee
$80 per costume
Performances are ticketed. Tickets are $25 per person, per show.

On Christmas Eve, Clara is swept into a magical dream filled with dancing dolls, mischievous mice, sparkling snowflakes, and the enchanting Land of Sweets. With the help of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Clara experiences an unforgettable journey full of wonder, beauty, and holiday magic.
